American company of international level, manufacturer of tires and polymers for the automotive and industrial markets. It manufactures tires for cars and trucks, racing cars, motorcycles, agricultural machinery, military transport and aircraft. It is ranked 187th in the Fortune 500 magazine list of the largest US companies by revenue.

It produces its products at 47 enterprises in 21 countries. Its catalog includes consumer tires and specialized products for off-road vehicles, aviation and Motorsport. In parallel with the production of civil and military products, the company is engaged in scientific activities. Three times included in the top 100 innovators according to the Agency Thompson Reuters.

Until 1998, it was the official sponsor and supplier of tires for Formula 1 cars. Currently, it is the only supplier of NASCAR series races. The company is known for the fact that its products were equipped with the lunar Rover Apollo-14, which landed on the moon.
